Biography
Dr. Schell's lab investigates the immune response to cancer and how immunotherapeutics can be improved to treat cancer. Studies focus on how durable T lymphocyte responses can be maintained against cancer and how these therapeutics impact the tumor immune microenvironment. Basic and clinical research approaches are used to advance potential treatments. Current emphases in the lab focus on melanoma, bladder cancer and prostate cancer.
