Penn State College of Medicine provides an inviting and collaborative culture, creating an environment where students feel supported and encouraged. With numerous student club opportunities, campus events and community outreach programs, students can dive into their medical interests while building lasting friendships with peers and mentors.

Clubs and Organizations

There are various groups in Hershey and University Park that students can join through the Graduate Student Association (GSA) and Health Professions Student Assembly (HPSA). From specialty areas, diversity clubs and interest groups, students have many opportunities to engage with classmates outside the classroom.

The Harrell Health Sciences Library is not only a place to study and gather resources, it offers coloring pages with pencils, board games and neurodivergent backpacks for checkout, a prayer/meditation room and more.

University Fitness Center

Membership is FREE at the University Fitness Center for students defined as full-time Penn State University enrolled at Penn State College of Medicine. In addition to the state-of-the-art equipment, students can participate in classes, including Cycle + Power, Kickboxing, Yoga, Zumba and more.
