Secondary Application Instructions

All applicants, with the exception of currently enrolled Penn State students, are required to establish a new password in order to access the secondary application. It does not matter if you had a prior affiliation with Penn State or you are brand new to Penn State, you must complete the following steps:

• Go to accounts.psu.edu
• Click on "Recover My Account"
• Follow the prompts to verify your identity
• You will receive an e-mail to create/reset your password

Now that your password is established, the secondary application will be accessible from your LionPATH account.

CASPA Re-applicants: If you applied to the Penn State Physician Assistant Program in a previous CASPA cycle, you should follow the steps listed above to reset your password. Upon password reset, you will have access to the 2024-2025 secondary application.

Current Penn State students: If you are a current Penn State student you are not required to create a new LionPATH password. Access LionPATH through the student login process.

All applicants including current Penn State students

Please take the following steps to access the secondary application. You can download a more detailed instruction sheet here.

• Go to lionpath.psu.edu
• Enter your login
• Enter your established password
• Upon successful login, click Classic Home from the three horizontal lines in the top right of the screen. This is the Navigator Bar.
• Select Self-Service twice
• Select PA Secondary Application
• Follow all prompts and instructions to complete and submit your application
