Diversity, Equity and Belonging

DEB Champions are an integral part of our extended staff and are composed of faculty, staff and clerkship allies, who are committed to driving, developing and supporting diversity, equity and belonging in their College of Medicine departments or business units.

Get to know your DEB Champion and reach out to them should you need support related to DEB matters or if would like to get more involved in departmental/unit DEB efforts.

The DEB Steering Committee is composed of staff, faculty, students and community leaders. Members are appointed based on their interest, expertise and roles within the College and community.

The committee, which meets on the third Monday of each month, provides guidance on assessing policies, procedures and programs that affect the College’s culture.
