Biography

The Rev. Kenneth J. Linder, PhD, BCC, serves as the Manager of Clinical Pastoral Education. With over 20 years of ministry experience, Ken served for 6 years as senior pastor of a local congregation in Allentown, PA. He completed internships, a residency, and Certified Educator CPE at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA, and became an ACPE Certified Educator in 2014. In 2015, he launched a new CPE Program at the Richmond Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. During his 11-year tenure there as Program Director, he led its growth to include internships, a residency, and Certified Educator CPE. He is a member of the ACPE National Faculty and educated a Certified Education Candidate who was certified in 2025.

Ken leads the CPE Program of Pastoral Services, overseeing the internships and residencies. He is ordained with the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination. He earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary. He is a board certified chaplain with the National Association of Veterans Affairs Chaplains (NAVAC). He will begin working at Pastoral Services on February 23, 2026.
