Biography
Fornessa T. Randal has over 30 years of experience in health systems innovation and community health planning. Dr. Randal is recognized both locally and nationally for her innovative approach to program design and implementation. She has disseminated and transformed local health initiatives into statewide and national models and developed prototypes which have been recognized by the National Institutes of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Dr. Randal has established and expanded partnerships within rural and underserved communities and is a key collaborator in several local, state, and national health disparities initiatives that advances health equity. As center director, Dr. Randal oversees all research, programmatic, and operational directives of CAHE-RUC.
