Amanda was born and raised in Houston, Texas, but attended high school and college in Massachusetts. She graduated with a degree in Neuroscience from Amherst College, where she also played soccer. After college, she worked in clinical research for five years - two years in Neurosurgery and three years in Oncology - before starting medical school at USF in Tampa, Florida. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, and watching her favorite sports, including soccer, Formula 1, football, and basketball.
