An Immersive Clinical Training Environment

The Simulation Lab replicates real clinical environments using high-fidelity manikins, modular patient rooms, and control centers. This space allows learners to engage in realistic training scenarios that build clinical confidence, strengthen teamwork, and support hands-on skill development. Whether managing everyday procedures or critical emergencies, participants benefit from structured simulations that enhance safety and readiness in patient care.

A Legacy of Simulation Excellence

Established in 2007, the Penn State Health Clinical Simulation Center has grown from a 3-room facility to a state-of-the-art, 10,000-square-foot training center. Built to improve patient safety and outcomes through immersive learning, the Center serves thousands of learners annually across medicine, nursing, and allied health professions. The growth and innovation of the Simulation Center reflect Penn State Health’s ongoing commitment to hands-on education, clinical teamwork, and cutting-edge training in both in-center and in-situ environments.
