Biography
Dr. Hakun is the director of the Cognitive and Mobile Phenotyping ("CAMP") Neurolaboratory in the Department of Neurology, Penn Sate College of Medicine. Dr. Hakun's research is focused on the cognitive neuroscience of aging, particularly cognitive and brain health over the adult lifespan.
He approaches this work through a wide range of research methods, including:
-Multi-modal brain imaging
-Ecological momentary assessments
-Ambulatory cognitive assessments
-Wearable devices
-Mobile health (mHealth) technology
-Adaptive interventions
-Intensive longitudinal designs
Dr. Hakun's lab leads basic, applied, and clinical research using digital health technology to assess and monitor cognitive and brain health with a specific focus on dementia risk.
