Biography
Our research seeks to understand fundamental cellular mechanisms, with particular emphasis on membrane trafficking and protein and organelle turnover. We investigate the molecular machinery that regulates these processes, including ESCRT-mediated membrane remodeling and autophagy, and how their dysregulation contributes to human disease, particularly cancer. Our goal is to translate fundamental cell biological discoveries into new therapeutic strategies.
