Woo Yul Byun, MD

Dr. Byun grew up in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, where he spent most of his time outdoors in the Smokies. He then studied bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania with a focus on creating medical devices. During his gap years before medical school, he conducted tissue engineering and consciousness research at Penn. He studied medicine at THE Ohio State University College of Medicine. He enjoyed all that Ohio had to offer, such as corn and Ohio memes, during his time in medical school. As an otolaryngologist, he hopes to improve his patients' lives with innovative new therapies and technologies. His hobbies include 3D printing, funny conversations around a bonfire, and photography. He also enjoys competitive videogames where he often is the bottom frag.
