Biography
Medical school: Cooper Medical School of Rowan University
Scott grew up in New Jersey enjoying competitive soccer for over ten years. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for college where he majored in Biology and worked in a genetics laboratory. He then moved to New York to attend New York University where he obtained his Master of Science in Biology while working in a basic science lab studying brain tumor epigenetic variation and laser capture microdissection. He then studied cerebral organoids with patient-derived tumor grafts in a translational laboratory at Weill Cornell Medical College before attending Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. During medical school, he led the clinical stroke laboratory and won the neurological surgery award at graduation. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer and pickleball, working on his car, and traveling.
