Richard Bavier, MD

Dr. Richard Bavier grew up in Clinton, N.J., and received his undergraduate degree in physics and philosophy from Rutgers. He attended Rutgers University: New Jersey Medical School, where he spent a scholar’s year conducting outcomes research using national surgical databases. His current research interests include using national datasets to define and combat health care disparities among head and neck cancer patients, and building custom instrumentation for head and neck surgery through 3-D printing. When not on the wards or in the lab, he enjoys rock climbing, fixing bicycles and making cocktails.
