Kevin Wile, MD

Dr. Kevin Wile is a faculty physician in the department of Family and Community Medicine at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. A graduate of University of Maryland School of Medicine, he subsequently completed his residency at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center stayed on as faculty after graduating. He is the director of the Lifestyle Medicine Area of concentration.

Dr. Wile is a dedicated educator that is involved with all levels of medical education. He promotes careers in primary care to undergraduate students as the director of the Primary Care Scholars program and Primary Care Day. He is the Family Medicine Interest Group faculty advisor and teaches first and second medical students in their introduction to clinical medicine course titled foundations of patient centered care. Dr. Wile precepts third- and fourth-year medical students during their clerkship and acting internship rotations, and precepts family medicine residents on a weekly basis at the Fishburn Road clinic.

He has co-authored multiple clinical reviews and original research articles with residents and faculty on topics such as venous thromboembolism, HPV vaccine recommendations, chronic pain management, and silicosis.

Clinically, Dr. Wile practices outpatient medicine in Middletown, PA. He has particular clinical interests in managing venous thromboemboli, recommending lifestyle medicine interventions, and performing/teaching office-based procedures.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Wile enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. They can often be found hiking together, going to concerts, finding great restaurants and swimming in the Rehoboth Bay.
