Biography
Jennifer Moss, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Family and Community Medicine and Public Health Sciences at Penn State College of Medicine. She also serves as the Director of the Family and Community Medicine Residents’ Scholarly Activity Program for the Hershey, State College, and Reading residencies.
Dr. Moss received her PhD in Health Behavior at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and she served as a post-doctoral Cancer Prevention Fellow at the National Cancer Institute. Her research is focused on disparities in cancer prevention, screening, and survivorship, with a special interest in rural and medically underserved communities. She is the Assistant Director of Community Outreach and Engagement at the Penn State Cancer Institute.
Outside of work, Dr. Moss spends her spare time reading (novels), painting (watercolors), and running (slowly). She and her family enjoy visiting parks and bookstores around central Pennsylvania.
