Give to Scholarships
As self-perpetuating funds, endowments spin off earned interest each year, while the principal is preserved to generate future scholarships. Consequently, the larger the endowment, the more students we can help.
If you are interested in establishing a scholarship endowment, or to find out if your alumni class already created a scholarship, please contact Associate Director of Annual Giving & Alumni Relations, Tessa Brown.

Medical Student Welcome Kits
With a gift to Medical Student Welcome Kits, you can provide incoming MD and PA students with a medical kit to use throughout their Penn State College of Medicine education and beyond.
For every $125 raised, a medical welcome kit will be gifted to an aspiring care provider. The welcome kit includes a stethoscope, reflex hammer and penlight. These items are essential tools for any medical professional. But for our students, it is also a symbol marking the beginning of their medical education.
Our goal each year is to gift 180 welcome kits, enough for a full incoming class of MD and PA students. Every dollar helps get us closer to our goal: $5, $50 or $500-plus, your donation will impact a future student.
Donors to Medical Student Welcome Kits will have their names printed in the White Coat Ceremony program to demonstrate to students that this community is standing with them through their medical education journey.

Match Madness
On March 15, 2024, the Penn State College of Medicine class of 2024 will celebrate Match Day and discover the next steps in their career journey. To honor the achievements of these students—and support tomorrow’s scholars—we will be running a Match Madness fundraising campaign from March 1-17, 2024, to benefit the Student Emergency Fund!
Match Day is a celebration of the past, present, and future. Your Match Day gift today will support students who may face personal difficulties or emergency circumstances throughout their training, helping them put their best foot forward.
Help us to reach our goal of engaging 152 donors during the March Madness Challenge and be part of showing our students what a tightknit community they have. A gift of any size counts toward this goal.
And in the spirit of March Madness…when you make a gift of $75 or more, you will receive a pair of limited edition Match Day socks (while supplies last).
