My research centers on understanding the roles of GDF15 and ALDH family enzymes in melanoma progression and therapy resistance. Through preclinical models and engineered culture platforms, I investigate how GDF15 contributes to stress adaptation and survival within the tumor microenvironment, and how altered ALDH enzyme activity influences metabolic pathways and metastatic potential.
