Research project: My current research focuses on the role of FANCI in repairing single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) gaps and its contribution to cisplatin resistance in cancer cells. The aim is to identify new therapeutic targets that could re-sensitize cancer cells to treatment and improve patient outcomes.
