My current work involves quality improvement and validation projects for use within the clinical microbiology lab here at HMC, with the goal of developing processes to improve turnaround time and facilitate faster patient intervention. I am also working on several clinical trials, helping to bridge the gap between basic biochemical principles and clinical laboratory standards and ensuring that emerging diagnostic technologies meet rigorous regulatory and performance benchmarks for improved patient care.
