Biography
Dr. Mike Valle is a licensed staff psychologist in the Office for Professional Mental Health and is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health.
Dr. Valle earned his BA from the University of Notre Dame and his PhD from the University of South Carolina. He has over twenty years of experience as a licensed psychologist and has worked across a variety of educational, outpatient, and university settings. Dr. Valle has experience assisting individuals with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and stress-related challenges. He has expertise in trauma and resiliency, as well as a professional and clinical interest in sports psychology. As a psychologist within the College of Medicine, he currently works with residents, fellows, faculty, and physicians.
Dr. Valle enjoys the outdoors (especially the ocean), coaching and playing sports, and spending time with his family.
