Mason Stoltzfus, MD

Medical school: Penn State College of Medicine

Mason grew up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania where his first vocations included working on a hog farm, structure painting, and corn pollinating. His interest in biology led him to an undergraduate biology program at Eastern Mennonite University. During a gap year before medical school, he worked as both a home health aide at a group home for developmentally disabled individuals and a patient care assistant at Lancaster General Hospital. Mason attended medical school at the Penn State College of Medicine where he discovered his passion for neurosurgery. The strong surgical training and culture at Penn State led him to pursue residency here. Outside of the hospital he enjoys fly fishing, trail running, and automotive mechanics.
