Ariane Levesque, PhD

Dr. Ariane Levesque is a Research Psychologist and Assistant Professor at Penn State College of Medicine. She leads the COPE Research Program, which she founded to address the unique psychosocial needs of children with cancer and their families at Penn State Health Golisano Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Levesque earned her PhD in Research Psychology from the University of Montreal in 2024, specializing in pediatric psychosocial oncology. She brings over half a decade of research and leadership experience to her role. Her work focuses on developing and evaluating evidence-based strategies that improve children’s quality of life. She is also interested in how family relationships shape children’s experiences, and in creating practical support that makes a real difference for families facing childhood cancer, both during treatment and survivorship.
