Ali Jabbarli, LLM

Ali Jabbarli, LLM, is a contracts administrator at the CMI. He reviews, drafts and negotiates material transfer agreements, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, as well as manages intellectual property rights agreements for STTR research sub-awards.

Ali previously worked at the New Jersey Superior Court, where he served as a judicial law clerk and a legal specialist. As a judicial law clerk, he assisted a trial court judge with family law cases, which involved in-depth legal research and over 100 bench memoranda. He drafted opinions, orders and other legal documents for cases involving domestic violence, custody, child support and other family-related matters. As a legal specialist, Ali played a key role in pre-trial operations that included managing case management conferences as well as finalizing settlement efforts under the jurisdiction of Law Division, Special Civil Part.
