Data Use Agreement

A Data Use Agreement (DUA) provides for the transfer of data developed by academic and research institutions, corporations, or government. A DUA is necessary when data that is not publicly available or otherwise restricted in its use is to be transmitted to or from Penn State Hershey. Similar to confidential disclosure agreements and material transfer agreements, the DUA provides for the protection of confidentiality, intellectual property and other contractual terms.

To request a DUA to transfer data from Penn State Hershey to another party, please complete the Outgoing DUA Request Form and forward to OTD.

To request a DUA to receive data from another party, please complete the Incoming DUA Request Form and forward to OTD.
